I.G.T. DELLE VENEZIE

This vine is known since 1100 AD, and like other friulian vines it risked extinction. Its distinctive characteristc is its solid structure and complexity, violet-ruby-red, winding bouquet, rounded and fruity with traces of ripe black cherry. A unique wine, of strong personality. unmistakable. Continuous refinement further contributes to its richness.

HARVESTING PERIOD Mid October.
HARVESTING By hand in cases with bunch selection. Perfectly ripe grapes.
VINIFICATION Maceration is carried out with frequent pumping over for 15 days at a controlled temperature of 25°C.
AGEING After the wine has been drawn off from the vat, it is racked into barriques, where it remains for 36-60 months.

SERVING SUGGESTIONS A wonderful companion for all game dishes, cold cuts of spiced meat or salami and mature cheeses
