D.O.C. COLLI ORIENTALI DEL FRIULI


Obtained from a blend of 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc grapes.A wine with a vibrant ruby red colour and a beautifully balanced lingering bouquet. Dry and full-flavoured, with excellent structure. The aromas on the nose are echoed attractively on the palate. Remarkably long finish.

HARVESTING By hand in cases.
VINIFICATION Macerated in stainless steel vats for 20 - 30 days; the cap is broken up and pushed under several times during maceration.
AGEING For one year or longer in French barriques, 60% of which are new and 40% used for the second time. Aged in the bottle for at least one year before being released to the market.
BOTTLES PRODUCED 1,5/2,000
SERVING SUGGESTIONS Game, roasts of red meat, mushroom-based dishes.
SERVING TEMPERATURE Ròi should be served at a temperature of 18 ƒC.
