SCHIOPPETTINO
D.O.C.
COLLI ORIENTALI DEL FRIULI
Schioppettino, or Ribolla Nera, is indisputably a native
Friulian varietal. It probably originates from the Prepotto
district.
Garnet ruby red colour with tinges of violet. The nose is
redolent of blackberry, raspberry and bilberry. Dry, zesty
flavour with good structure and plenty of character. Bottle
ageing will bring out an elegant bouquet of autumn leaves
and spices.
